Leadership Glenpool Class of 2022

  • A leadership program that promotes community awareness and addresses civic challenges
  • A call to action to those who already are aware of their leadership skills.
  • A means for developing skills in those who may not be aware of their leadership capabilities.
  • A program that provides those transformational skill sets needed to improve the capacity to interact productively with others.

Leadership Glenpool Class IV is now accepting nominations and applications. Leadership Glenpool is a program where students attend classes that are aimed to inform citizens of topics regarding their community. A variety of topics will be covered, such as public safety, economic development, public education, city government, and more!

Class Tuition:

$375 / student

Interested in the principles of both personal and civic leadership.
Note: Early-enrollment discount of $50 by August 1.

Class Schedule:

Each leadership class is composed of eight, three-hour sessions that take place from 5:30-8 p.m. on Tuesdays, August through November, and one informal debriefing/discussion session at the conclusion of the class. Program content builds from week to week making attendance at all sessions a requirement.

  • March 1, 2022: History of Glenpool/Education
  • March 15, 2022: Priority Management
  • March 29, 2022: How Municipalities Work (Lunch and Afternoon Session)
  • April 5, 2022: Finding Your One Percent
  • April 26, 2022: Public Safety/GFD/Meet at Glenpool Fire Department
  • May 3, 2022: Simulated Disaster Exercise
  • May 24, 2022: Class Debriefing/Discussion

Upon successful completion of the program, class members will have:

  • a thorough knowledge of their individual leadership skills

  • new relationships
  • enhanced networking capabilities
  • a heightened sense of self-reflection
  • the chance for personal transformation
