BlackGold Christmas
BlackGold Christmas is the event of the holiday season. It begins with the decorating of sponsored Christmas trees, a parade, caroling, photos with Santa, food vendors, horses and carriages, and the lighting of the Mayor’s Christmas Tree. Businesses, clubs, nonprofits
may sponsor a tree for $250 and decorate it to promote themselves or the season. The Chamber will supply tree stands and promotional signage; the City of Glenpool will supply electricity. The event is located in BlackGold Park, 95 W. 145th St. and Highway 75.
