Board Members
A Note From Our Incoming President
December 4, 2009
The holiday season is upon us and the new year is just around the corner! In January, 2010, I will proudly serve the Chamber Board of Directors as its president.
2009 was a year filled with change and with it challenges; however, we, as a chamber, have experienced growth in membership. Thanks to assistance from the City of Glenpool, the chamber hired its first full-time Executive Director, Dianne Bileck. At this time, I would like to take this opportunity to thank Carol Campbell for her years of dedicated service to the Chamber. The Board of Directors is looking forward to working with her in another capacity, as an Ambassador and local business representative.
In 2010, it is anticipated that along with growth in the city and school district, the chamber will also experience continued growth with more businesses uniting for business promotion as well as in support of the city and school. The chamber will be implementing a business plan designed to increase membership while providing additional benefits to its members. Additionally, we will be supporting the community through a variety of activities, such as the all-important, historically significant, Black-Gold Days! Your assistance will be needed to serve as a volunteer willing to assist with one or more of the various activities throughout the year
If you are reading this letter, you are visiting our new website which we hope will serve your needs. It is a work in progress, soon to host a myriad of information about its member businesses and other appropriate links. We encourage your feedback, so please let us know how we might be of support to you and your business.
