Chamber 2012 Calendar of Events

After a successful 2011, 2012 is going to have big shoes to fill. The Glenpool Chamber has released the 2012 Calendar of events. All events held by the Glenpool Chamber are required to uphold the mission of the our Chamber. The events must have Purpose, Benefit and Value to the Community. The Glenpool Chamber in conjunction with the City or Glenpool and the community believe we have a 2012 schedule that will fulfill all expectation.

Let me start off by saying I am honored and that I consider it a privilege to serve as your 2011 Chamber President. I am extremely excited about this year at the Chamber and I am confident that 2011 is going to be another very excited about the new year for the Glenpool Chamber of Commerce.

2010 was a year filled with more change as well as more challenges for the Chamber; however, I think most would agree that the changes have produced both positive and productive results for our Glenpool Chamber and community and that the challenges have made us a stronger Chamber. Again this past year we experienced growth in our Chamber membership and our sponsored activities  and events continued to grow and were bigger and better than before. The Chamber definitely  took some big steps this past year.                                                                                                                                

In 2011, it is anticipated there will be more change, more growth, and yes, even more challenges for us all but what this means to me is that opportunity continues to be at the Chamber’s door and I believe that this is just great!  Again in 2011 the Glenpool Chamber is in a unique situation. We look forward to many challenges from growing pains that come along with progress and growing our Chamber and making it the best we can for our members and our community. I foresee more success in 2011 by continuing to promote growth of our membership and our community by showcasing Glenpool and all the unique and wonderful things that Glenpool has to offer.

As I have said, I am extremely excited and I look forward to all that this new year will bring. In December the Chamber Board of Directors and staff participated in our annual retreat. During the retreat we had discussions and looked forward and focused on the many positive opportunities that we see coming in the future for the Chamber. We all look forward to another busy year.

Once again this year, we have a great team, with the Chamber staff, board of directors, committee members & many volunteers that step up and represent the Chamber. This is sure to be another successful fun and exciting year for the Glenpool Chamber.

Again, I am honored to serve as the 2011 Chamber President. I appreciate all of your support and I will be available to you, welcoming all comments and ideas that you might have to better the Glenpool Chamber of Commerce.
